Marry Me Pound Cake: Easy Pound Cake Recipe
I have been baking this cake for over 20 years and it is a family favorite. The cake is delicious plain or with whipped cream and berries.
Marry Me Pound Cake Recipe
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 pound butter
- 6 eggs
- 4 cups cake flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, creaming well after each addition.
Add flour alternative with the milk, beating well. Stir in flavoring.
Pour into a well teased and floured 10 inch bundt pan.
Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or longer, if necessary.
